Do not sell or share my personal information

Last updated: 25 October 2026

This page is for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA. It explains what we do with personal information for advertising and how to opt out.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not share it with data brokers. We do use Google AdSense to fund the free parts of the site. That involves Google and its partners setting cookies and receiving device and browsing information to measure ads and, if you allow it, personalise them. Under the CCPA this kind of cross-context behavioural advertising can count as “sharing”.

How to opt out

  1. Turn off advertising cookies in the cookie settings. This applies to this browser and is remembered for 12 months.
  2. Send a Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or extension supports GPC, we detect it automatically and advertising cookies stay off.
  3. Email us at support@kingshotguide.org with the subject “Do not sell or share”. Tell us the email address you use for the site, if you have an account.

What happens next

  • We acknowledge and action email requests within 15 business days.
  • We may ask for information to verify your identity before acting on a request.
  • Because the advertising choice lives in a cookie, a request made by email covers the account we can identify. On other devices, use the cookie settings link or a GPC signal.
  • We will not deny you service, charge you more, or provide a lower quality of service for opting out.
  • You may use an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Other choices

For access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, see the privacy policy. You can also opt out of personalised advertising directly through Google Ad Settings.
